In October, I attended the MLJ Trust conference in Ashford, and there I picked up a copy of a book that I've recently been reading called the Marrow of Modern Divinity. I'm about 100 pages in at the moment, and it is a phenomenal book - unlike any I've read before. The author, Edward Fisher, helps the reader so deftly maneuver through the sticky issues regarding how the law relates to the Gospel, and in doing so helps us more richly understand and rest in the grace of God.
